On the same day, our friends Ladybird and Bumblebee were also visiting Parque Europa. Here is Ladybird in front of Belém Tower (Lisboa, Portugal)

This is Alcalá Gate. Madrid in the late 18th century, still remained a somewhat drab villa in appearance, surrounded by medieval walls. Around the year 1774, king Charles III commissioned Francesco Sabatini to construct a monumental gate in the city wall replacing an older, smaller, gate which stood nearby. It was inaugurated in 1778.

Besicos

  6. Hi Raquel. Your photos are a pleasure as always!!! Our Bumblebee Sophia is thrilled to see that a relative of her has accompanied you on this wonderful trip. And we notice that you had more than two hands to take a picture of the Tower Bridge haha...Belem Tower is very imposing! The elephants are very lovely. At the entrance of "Loro Parque" Teneriffa we have seen three similar ones. Kisses :-)
