Un bonito día de primavera, la girafa Gwen decidió dar una vuelta por el Parque de El Retiro: es el parque más famoso de Madrid. Fue concebido en tiempos de Felipe II, en 1620, tiene una extensión de 1.4 Km2 , está en en Centro de Madrid, muy cerca de la Puerta de Alcalá y del Museo del Prado. Es un parque magnífico, lleno de esculturas, monumentos, galerías, un lago... y donde se llevan a cabo multitud de eventos. Es una de las principales atracciones de Madrid :))

One beautiful Spring day, Gwen Giraffe decided to go to Retiro Park: it is the most famous park in Madrid. It was concibed in times of King Phillip II, about 1620. Buen Retiro Park (Parque del Buen Retiro) is a large and popular 1.4 km² (350 acres) park at the edge of the city center, very close to the Puerta de Alcalá and not far from the Prado Museum. A magnificent park, filled with beautiful sculpture and monuments, galleries, a peaceful lake and host to a variety of events, it is one of Madrid's premier attractions. :))

Aranjuez es un pueblo situado en el sur de Madrid. Es un sitio precioso y tiene mucha historia!!!. Nuestro amigo el Suricato (Meerkat) se vino con nosotros a recorrerlo. El Palacio de Aranjuez comenzó a construirse en el siglo XVI, aunque hubo que reconstruirlo en el siglo XVIII por un incendio. Ha sido la residencia de verano de los reyes de España y es Patrimonio de la Humanidad

Aranjuez is a beautiful town placed in the south of Madrid, and has a lot of History!!! Our friend Meerkat came with us to walk around it. Aranjuez Palace was initially constructed in the 16th century, but, because of a fire, it had to be reconstructed in the 18th century. It has been the Summer residence of the Spanish Kings, and it is considered as Human Patrimony

El pasado fin de semana nos llevamos al Gorila a un concierto de Gospel que daba el grupo Living Water Gospel Choir: es un coro español de gospel que, pese a que en España no hay gran tradición, está teniendo mucho éxito, tanto en España como fuera. ¡Fue estupendo!. Last weekend we went with Gorilla to a Gospel concert. It was performed by a Spanish group called Living Water Gospel Choir : though there is not a big tradition here, they are having a great success, in Spain and also outside our frontiers. Ayer estuvimos en una cata de vinos, y nuestro amigo Bunny se vino con nosotros. Catamos 18 vinos diferentes!!!! Así que, llegamos a casa un poquito borrachos, jejeje ;)

Hiiiiiii!!! Excuse me for being late to actualize, but these days have been full of work :(
Yesterday, we went to a "wine trying", and our friend Bunny came with us. We tried 18 types of Spanish wines!!!! So, when we arrived home, we felt a bit drunk, hehehe ;)
